With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading integrated solutions provider for specialized product and services in the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role\u2026<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will provide a full range of manufacturing support to 3<sup>rd <\/sup>Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: General machine set-up and troubleshooting, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaboration with team members throughout the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>Overtime: May be required depending on machine \/ area, volunteer opportunities, cross training opportunities.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How you\u2019ll make an impact\u2026<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set-up machine(s) per customer\/order specification (make-to-order products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshoot and adjust machine controls and components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with other departments to request raw materials and supplies to eliminate the need for downtime<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Document and explain all production data according to procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observe the operation of the machine to detect and correct machine malfunctions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform quality inspections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Note: Other duties may be required<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you bring\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High School Diploma or GED <em>required, <\/em>4+ years of manufacturing experience <em>preferred<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comprehend and apply basic reading, arithmetic, and geometry (testing required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper, and micrometer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical requirements \u2013 lift and manipulate unwieldy parts weighing between 50 &#8211; 100 lbs, depending on the machine and work in a not climate-controlled environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to train others and willingness to cross-train<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Signing bonus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical insurance with an accompanying health savings account, vision and dental insurance, PTO starting your FIRST day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>401k plan with company match, Company paid basic life and AD&amp;D insurance, STD and LTD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee assistance program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee referral program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional company programs include: Wellness, clothing allowance, computer loan, and tuition reimbursement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An award-winning atmosphere!
