With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading integrated solutions provider for specialized product and services in the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role\u2026<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will provide a full range of material handling support to 2<sup>nd <\/sup>Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: delivering raw materials to production, packing and sorting materials, operating a variety of fork trucks, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaborating with team members throughout the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overtime: <a>Required overtime every 3<sup>rd<\/sup> weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Additional overtime may be required depending volunteer opportunities and cross training opportunities.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How you\u2019ll make an impact\u2026<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver materials to specified departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and supplies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist other departments as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate the paper compactor, bailers (plastic\/paper), and core cutter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note: Other duties may be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you bring\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High School Diploma or GED <em>required<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to operate a variety of lifts, (forklift, clamp truck, stand-up), and stretch wrap machinery, manual and\/or electric hand jack, strapping equipment, bailers\/compactor, and core cutter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical requirements \u2013 lift and manipulate unwieldly parts weighing approximately 50 lbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to train others and willingness to cross train<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do we offer?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Signing bonus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical insurance with an accompanying health savings account, vision and dental insurance, PTO starting your FIRST day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>401k plan with company match, Company paid basic life and AD&amp;D insurance, STD and LTD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee assistance program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee referral program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional company programs include: Wellness, clothing allowance, computer loan, and tuition reimbursement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An award-winning atmosphere!
