The role\u2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join our team at Urbana, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How you\u2019ll make an impact\u2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Install, disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery such as pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical drives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Follow blueprints, manuals, and schematics for task execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain equipment in line with company procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Diagnose machinery issues and collaborate with the Maintenance or Facility team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Replace\/repair components like relays, switches, and motors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pumps, and pump seals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Adjust and calibrate instrumentation as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work with electrical components (fuses, relays, starters) in a 480V 3-phase system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid future breakdowns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with production teams to address equipment issues efficiently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform welding and fabrication using MIG and TIG for mild steel and stainless steel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Communicate effectively with leaders and technicians on critical information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Request and track supplies and repairs needed for maintenance work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Log repair details in CMMS or report to the Maintenance Supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to 5S standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain tools and comply with safety protocols, ensuring compliance with ISO standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    What do you bring\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent experience (e.g., Skilled Trades programs or military experience).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 8+ years as an Industrial Electrician or Mechanic with relevant certifications (Journeyman, state\/provincial license, or technical degree).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficient with PLC and VFD programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience in laser aligning motor couplings (both offset and angularity).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, meters, and mechanical service tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Able to lift up to 100 lbs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate, train others, and support operational goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
