With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading integrated solutions provider for specialized product and services in the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The role\u2026<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure compliance with quality standards in products, processes, and services through the implementation and monitoring of control methodologies, continuous improvement, and problem analysis. The Quality Coordinator acts as a technical link between production, engineering, customers, and suppliers to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Support and participate in the development and implementation of the QEH&amp;S Management System (Quality, Environmental, Health &amp; Safety) and develop control methods in the manufacturing of our products<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How you\u2019ll make an impact\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work as a team with commitment to comply with the Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Objectives of WEIDMANN Electrical Technology of Mexico.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use problem-solving methods to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and the Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update key performance indicators (KPIs) of quality processes and lead corrective actions related to indicators that are below target.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend Shop Floor Management meetings at levels 2 and 3 as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support assigned activities for improvement projects, Lean Manufacturing, and\/or Six Sigma when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze information to identify problems related to product, processes, and the QEH&amp;S system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up on controls implemented for nonconforming products and verify their effectiveness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead investigations of customer nonconformities, as well as lead presentations to customers when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive external or internal audits of the QEH&amp;S system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform specialized studies when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and report nonconformities regarding the quality of critical suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review reports issued by Axion and follow up on them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review with the production area the results obtained in internal and external rejection indicators to jointly define corrective or preventive actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in controlling the department\u2019s budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the identification of hazards and environmental aspects related to workplace activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate as a training instructor in courses focused on QEH&amp;S awareness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow and respect procedures, work instructions, and visual aids (Operational Controls).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report abnormal conditions affecting quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply the 5S methodology in the work area and participate as a 5S auditor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct root cause analysis for external and internal rejections, manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure corrective actions are effective and delivered on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with the internal verification program and calibration of measuring instruments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purchase measuring instruments in compliance with the assigned budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare test certificates required by different customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release parts in Quality Inspection using the HUMO transaction in SAP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the corrective and improvement actions system in Axion software to ensure compliance with committed corrective and preventive actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you bring\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum experience: 10 years in quality areas within industrial or manufacturing environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in regulated or certified sectors (automotive, medical, aerospace, food) is desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge and application of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, quality audits, problem-solving, and ISO standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of international quality standards, failure analysis methodologies, measurement systems, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to write technical reports and deliver presentations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective communication with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to clearly document audit findings or failure analysis results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability to travel, as required by the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of a valid visa and passport is desirable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to visit suppliers, sister plants, customers, or certification
