The role…

The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages full-cycle recruiting for all manufacturing roles, from sourcing through onboarding, while building strong talent pipelines. Several years of proven manufacturing recruiting experience are required. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, builds strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates, and provides guidance to ensure quality hiring decisions.

How you’ll make an impact…

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for all hourly manufacturing roles, including production, machine operators, maintenance, and skilled trades.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and skill gaps.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through relationships with technical schools, workforce programs, and community partners.
  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, community events, networking, and referrals.
  • Ensure consistent, timely recruiting processes from posting through onboarding, providing guidance and pushback when needed.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data, tracking key metrics like pipeline status and time-to-fill.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting progress and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience and represent Weidmann at hiring events to strengthen employer visibility. 

What do you bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing required.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for high-volume hourly manufacturing and skilled roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, employment law, compliance standards, and manufacturing workforce trends.
  • Proven ability to source, attract, and hire manufacturing talent using multiple channels, including Boolean search and talent pipelining.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to provide guidance and push back respectfully when necessary to achieve the best hiring outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and community partners.
