Weidmann Group introduces Maximilian Veit as new CEO

Rapperswil, Switzerland – May 2023: Weidmann Group, a leading global supplier of engineered products and services in the Electrical, Medical, and other, sustainability driven industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Maximilian Veit as its new Group Chief Executive.

Maximilian has been with Weidmann Group as Chief Financial Officer since 2014, based at the Group’s headquarter in Rapperswil, Switzerland. Before, he worked for manufacturing companies in Switzerland and Germany, previously holding the position of Chief Financial Officer at Netstal Maschinen Group and Vice President of Finance Injection Moulding Machines of the KraussMaffei Group.

Maximilian Veit replaces Franziska Tschudi Sauber who served as Group Chief Executive and member of the board since 2001. Franziska will remain actively engaged with the group as Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
