The role…

Responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations in the Converting department to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. This role leads and supports production teams, enforces safety and quality requirements, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance including customer service, on time delivery, and cost.

  • Lead by example in a values-driven culture, aligning teams with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while fostering a culture aligned with company values, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Supervise daily production operations to meet output, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
  • Plan and assign work, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing or processes to meet production demands.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor production and quality performance, addressing issues, defects, and performance gaps in a timely manner.
  • Partner with maintenance, quality, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues and maintain workflow.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and communicate performance, issues, and improvement actions to leadership.

What do you bring…

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in a safety- and quality-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems using structured methods.
  • Proficiency in production systems, ERP/MRP, and Microsoft Office.
