The role…
Ensure the smooth and synchronized execution of manufacturing orders by accurately organizing the production sequence, considering capacity, resource availability, and delivery priorities. This role is key in translating overall plans into concrete actions on the production floor, maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
How you’ll make an impact…
*Define and update the daily operational sequence in production lines or cells, aligned with delivery needs and material availability.
• Assign orders to workstations, shifts, or specific lines, considering technical constraints, changeover times, and scheduled maintenance.
• Validate that production resources are available (materials, tools, personnel) before executing each order.
• Adjust the schedule in real time in response to unexpected changes such as delays, equipment failures, or urgent customer requests.
• Monitor production progress and maintain constant communication with supervisors and line leaders to ensure compliance.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities in workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
• Generate reports on sequence compliance, execution efficiency, and deviations from the original schedule.
• Participate in shop floor meetings to align priorities, resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide visibility into the operational status.
• Coordinate with the internal logistics team to ensure materials are available at the right time and place.
What do you bring…
• Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, or a related technical degree.
• Experience: 5 years in production scheduling, shop floor control, or operational planning.
• Knowledge of ERP systems or detailed scheduling software (MES, APS, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints, production routes, and process sheets.
• Experience managing operational constraints, changeover times, and setups.
• Languages: English preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quick decision-making.
• Effective communication with operational teams.
• Adaptability to change and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
