The role…

An employee in the Customer Service Representative position serves customers to their best ability to ensure top customer satisfaction. A Customer Service Representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, by providing helpful information, answering questions and responding to customer complaint. This position ensures that customers are satisfied with products and services.

How you’ll make an impact…

•                 Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

•                 Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

•                 Attend the requirements of the Clients: programs, emergencies, status of orders, modifications, and engineering changes.

•                 Source products and materials to satisfy customer inquiries.

•                 Prepare quotations/enter orders on current system including prices and terms.

•                 Review and analyze customer requirements to process orders in SAP

•                 Coordinate shipment of products to fulfill order in accordance with requirements of territory/country

•                 Acknowledge, record and assist with customer complaints involving all appropriate personnel.

•                 Use problem solving methods to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities related to the product, the service, the process and the Quality,

                    environmental and Occupational Health and Safety System.

•                 Provide courteous, timely response to all inquiries both internal & external customers.

•                 Observe Limits of Authority for this position.

•                 Advise Account Managers and executives of any occurrences that are significant.

•                 Maintain customer profile and specification files. Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.

•                 Has the responsibility of understanding and carrying out assigned duties in conformance with customer and business requirements.

•                 Ensures that problems, errors and/or defects that surface in regard to products, documentation, procedures or materials are promptly brought to attention for correction.

•                 Provides support and input for continual improvement projects, preventative and corrective actions.

•                 Participate in activities focused on emergency response and contingency plans applicable to my work area.

•                 Report abnormal conditions that affect quality, the environment and health and safety at work.

•                 Support the Company’s risk and pollution prevention or reduction programs

What do you bring…

  • bachelor’s degree or engineering degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Ability in oral and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and solve problems.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Word and Excel, ERP (SAP a plus but not required).
  • Knowledge of Weidmann products is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of import/export requirements depending on the territory involved.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to read and understand technical inquiries and requests.
  • Ability in mental arithmetic calculations and projections
